Absolute Vans is a trading name of Uber Vans Limited. Uber Vans Limited is the controller for the personal information we process. When applying for finance, the finance company or funder will be a joint data controller.

Data Sharing

We might share your personal information with selected third parties including business services providers and funders if you ask us to prepare a finance proposal. You can find out what information we share, and when in the tables below.

If you’ve contacted us about a finance quote, we will share your details with Automotive Compliance. Uber Vans Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Automotive Compliance’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Uber Vans Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders.

If required, we will share your personal information with regulatory bodies such as the Financial Conduct Authority.

We share data with certain providers, who store data on servers in the USA. We have standard contractual clauses in place as required by the UK GDPR.

We might share anonymous data with the companies we work with. This data will include sales patterns, demographic information and other information that won’t relate to any individual.

When applying for finance, the finance company is the data controller. We don’t store any information about financial history or credit information. We will share information on how the finance company processes your data and their privacy policy at the time of application.
